Our Positive Impact

Through The Shield & Hearth Foundation, a portion of select Miller + Magnolia events and initiatives supports causes close to our hearts. We also host charitable events, collect needed goods, volunteer our time, and partner with organizations already doing meaningful work in our community.

  • Not yet. The Shield & Hearth Foundation is currently the charitable initiative of Miller + Magnolia / 4 Happy Dogs LLC as we work toward formal nonprofit formation and 501(c)(3) recognition in 2027.

    At this time, contributions made directly to The Shield & Hearth Foundation should not be considered tax-deductible charitable donations. We believe in complete transparency with our supporters and will update our giving information once our nonprofit status has been formally established.

  • Your generosity is put to work through The Shield & Hearth Foundation’s charitable initiatives, community events, and selected causes. Funds may be used to support our charitable partners, provide needed goods and resources, or help make our community service and fundraising efforts possible.

    For each major fundraising event, we clearly identify the cause or organization being supported so you know what your generosity is helping accomplish.

    We are committed to thoughtful stewardship, transparency, and using every contribution with integrity and purpose.

    We welcome volunteers to support our various charitable events throughout the year—from helping with setup and welcoming guests to assisting with activities, collections, and other event needs.

  • Yes! We welcome in-kind donations that support our charitable events and initiatives, including donated goods, professional services, event supplies, and auction or raffle items.

  • The Shield & Hearth Foundation thoughtfully reviews each charity and 501(c)(3) organization we support or that approaches us for partnership. Our primary areas of service include women’s rehabilitation and recovery, veterans and military families, foster children and youth, and leadership and development programs.

    At the heart of our giving is the Miller + Magnolia belief that every person deserves to experience beauty, dignity, purpose, and belonging in ordinary life. We seek partnerships that help people rebuild, grow, and recognize the extraordinary worth already within them.

    While these areas remain close to our hearts, we welcome and carefully review every request for support. Each opportunity is considered individually to determine how we can best serve—whether through financial support, in-kind giving, community partnership, volunteer service, or simply helping bring greater awareness to a meaningful cause.
